Hair is an ideal tissue for sampling and testing. It can be cut easily and painlessly, and sent to the lab without special handling requirements.
Treated hair cannot be tested as this can alter the results. You can plan ahead with your client. Let them know that waiting just 10-12 weeks for fresh, untreated hair growth will ensure that their test will be accurate.
